Just for Parents
A Summer Refresh Online Workshop Series
This summer, we’re offering a series of online Roll With It workshops — just for parents! Join us for one or all of this four-part virtual lunch series designed to support parents of middle-schoolers through one of the most dynamic — and sometimes dizzying — stages of growing up.
In one short hour, we aim to help parents gain perspective, learn practical tools, and swap worry for wisdom in a few of the most challenging parenting topics for this age and stage.
Workshops take place on Zoom, from 12-1 p.m. ET*:

Group FAQs
-
Roll With It is a clinical therapy group created and facilitated by Flow Psychotherapy’s Neha Patel (M.S.Ed, M.Phil.Ed, LPC) alongside fellow psychotherapist Annie Mosimann, (MA, LPC) of Anchor Psychotherapy.
-
Our Roll With It group meets once per week for 12 weeks. Each meeting is 1-hour in duration, and we meet at the same time and in the same place every week: 6723 Whittier Avenue, Suite 200, McLean, VA 22101.
-
Each series at Roll With It is unique, but one thing that remains consistent is that we rely on grounded, evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Art Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. We help our members learn through hands-on activities and connection-based conversation. While our group is fun and interactive, we make meaningful progress every session.
-
We do not accept insurance. However, we will always provide you with a superbill to present to your insurance provider for reimbursement. (All insurance providers are different; please see your specific policy to learn whether or not clinical group therapy services are covered.)
-
For inclement weather and other events, we follow Fairfax County Public Schools cancellation procedures.
We also understand that life happens! If you're running late or your child needs to miss a group session due to illness, we appreciate as much advance notice as possible.
Regular, dependable attendance is essential to ensure everyone benefits fully from group therapy. Please note that frequent absences may result in full charges for missed sessions and could lead to removal from the group.
